Batt Johnson is a true Renaissance man. In addition to being an award winning actor and radio/ TV broadcaster, Batt is a teacher and writer. Batt began his radio career in San Diego and worked his way cross-country to NBC-New York, the Sony World Wide Radio Network and the legendary WRVR-FM Jazz Radio. His television experience includes music writer and national host for VH-1 Music Television's "Only In New York" and Q2 (QVC Networks). Batt has appeared in numerous national and corporate films for companies including IBM, Xerox, Pepsi, Sony, American Express, Merrill Lynch, Exxon, Johnson & Johnson, and more.

Batt is the author of POWERFUL PRINCIPLES FOR PRESENTERS, RICH & FAMOUS IN THIRTY SECONDS, and WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED JAZZ? Currently he teaches at New York University, Cornell University, and the West-Barron School of Television.
