Tomecia considers herself the diva of the crew! She started working at CD101.9 in Sep of 2004 and mainly works in the office assisting with promotions. If you have won anything from CD101.9, you can expect to get a phone call from her congratulating you! She would also be the person with the big smile that will hand you your prize! Tomecia graduated from Bernard M. Baruch College with a Bachelors in Management of Musical Enterprises in Aug 2005. In the future, this multi-talent wants to open a talent school for kids and young adults who have dreams of getting into the industry but need the right kind of guidance.

Lauren joined the CD101.9 street team in May 2005 and is currently a senior at New York University. She is scheduled graduate in May 2006 with Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with concentrations in producing and public relations. Lauren grew up in Long Island, NY and graduated from East Meadow High School in 2001. Being the youngest while growing up, Lauren attributes her family and cousins to her wide taste in musical genres from all over the world. Lauren was also a member of school and church choirs since the age of 10. Although music is still a major part of her life, she is interested in pursuing a professional career in media event planning and management. One aspect of the street team that Lauren enjoys most is making fans happy through prize giveaways. Her most memorable moment at CD101.9 is when she convinced a fan at the Praful show to join the mobile lounge, only to call this person a month later to inform her that she won a grand prize - an all expense paid island hopping cruise through the Caribbean!

Crystal Thompson is the newest member on the CD101 .9 team.  Born in Staten Island & raised in just about every borough of NY she adds a diverse flavor.  Her huge family from Belize has been her inspiration...and many of them have been subjected to posing for her love of photography. Starting out at St. John's University, she is currently finishing up a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at York College, hence her favorite quote: "It's never to late to be what you might have been." Her most memorable moment at CD101.9 is when she met actor, Danny Glover at BB Kings in Times Square. Some of her favorite artists include Sade, Luther Vandross, Prince, Miles Davis, and Stevie Wonder.  Crystal plans to one day get in the studio and become an on-air personality!

Caitlin Higdon

The youngest member of the CD101.9 street team, Caitlin Higdon hails from Denville, New Jersey. She is currently attending William Paterson University where she is going for her bachelors degree in Communication with a focus in Television and Radio. Caitlin is full of energy and can be seen on the soccer field if she is not already at an event promoting Smooth Jazz CD 101.9! She joined the street team in March of 2005 and is enjoying her experience in the greatest city in the world, New York City! Caitlin's future plans are to become a host of a respectable television show and be a positive role model for the youth of America.

Janelle Henderson

Janelle Henderson is from Plainfield, NJ and is a senior at William Paterson University, majoring in communication. Her short term goal is to continue her education and receive a Masters degree in music management. One day Janelle plans to be an A&R exec at a record label and ultimately become the next Clive Davis (with a hint of Suzanne de Passe's flair!) Her most memorable experience at CD101.9 was on one of the 2005 summer cruises when the mixer was left behind and then held for ransom by a listener!
