Sharon didn't start out to pursue a career in broadcasting. She initially went to college to study dental hygiene-- not a match made in career heaven. So finding herself in the door way of the campus radio station where the mysteries of the medium unfolded before her, she was lead in a different direction. Where else could hard work yield so much fun and a pay check to boot?
Sharon has always worked in the New York radio market, at stations spanning a variety of formats including rock, religion, soft hits, and news, too. She rounds out her voiceover career with narrations of industrial films and electronic press kits for network tv.
In 1996, Sharon found a home at CD101.9 where she was thrilled to be able to play the innovative music of Pat Metheny, Bob James, Larry Carlton, Peter White, Boney James, Lee Ritenour, David Benoit, The Rippingtons, and the many other artists that came to define the smooth jazz genre.
With a degree in psychology, Sharon promises not to psychoanylize her friends, but prefers entertaining them in her New Jersey home. Her house is in a constant state of flux, since home improvement and repair along with antique furniture refinishing are among her favorite ways to stay out of trouble.
