Although Meryl loves all kinds of music, jazz is her passion.
As a broadcaster she has held numerous airshifts, at a variety
of New York City radio stations, before coming to CD101.9
as an on-air talent.
Meryl also writes for jazz publications "Jazziz"
and "Strictly Jazz," as well as the on-line publication
"Jazz Central Station." With a Masters' in English/
Education and state/ city teaching licenses, she has taught
Broadcast Journalism and recently helped launch a student-operated
school radio station in Washington Heights.
